Danny D. Pollard started spur and bit making in the year 1989. He created a fulltime business on his newly found talent in June 1990. At an early age he was introduced to horses and the importance of a correctly balanced bit.
A self taught spur and bit maker, he has establihed himself with a reputation as a craftsman of quality with a flair for tradition. He is internationally known for his work.
Danny has also been featured in many magazine articles, newspapers, and TV shows.

Alan Jackson, Chuck Norris, and Bob Kingsley are some of the celebrities that Danny has been asked to make spurs for. But the Pollards take the most pride in the work they do for their customers that use their goods on a daily basis.
In 2001 Annette Pollard started working part-time learning how to make various buckles, conchos, and misc. hardware.
By Oct. 2003 Annette not only became one of a few women involved in this profession, she also makes a full-time living at her craft. She was also featured in the Abilene Reporter News July 9, 2005. Annette's work is stamped "A. Pollard."
The Pollards artistic styles can range from conservative to "COWBOY WILD."
